NOW is a sonorous and choreographic performance which invites us to enter the body and the language of music in the present tense.
The setting is a speech made by a person in charge of an institution or a public venue (theatre, museum, etc.). During the speech, Lorenzo Dallai appears on the stage as the speaker’s double, revealing the posture and the movements of the speaker. Then Maguelone Vidal appears entering into the sound of the orator and, using a specially designed electronic instrument, she kneads, sculpts, slows down, accelerates, cuts up and accentuates the speech. Gradually a complete musical and choreographic score is created from this unexpected and jubilant snapshot.
